Suggest Treatment For Size Difference Between Legs

I am 47 years old man. My right leg was lightly affected by polio at the time of 3 years old. Now the problem is my right leg is very smaller i.e 1 or 2 inches shorter than right leg. Due to this i can't easily walk in the steps. Is there any surgery is needed to increase the length of my right leg.
