Suggest Treatment For Skin Allergy When Suffering From GERD

Hello sir, I m long time boozer and now have liver cirrhosis along with gerd. I have red itchy neck n shoulders, red swelling palms n legs. Uneasy swelled itchy abdomin. I m taking udiliv 300 twice, heptral 400 twice, pantocid d before brkfst, inderal 10 and librium 10 thrice daily. Taking light diets for last 2 days. How long will I take to recover. Are these medicines ok. How can i reduce fluid build up in abdomin etc. Any other suggestions. Plz plz help me sir/madam.

Hi,

Your symptoms (rash in your shoulders,palms and legs)very probably can be due to an allergic reaction. This condition can be caused by food or medication. The allergy generally appear the first days after you start the medication. So, If you haven't start recently your treatment for cirrhosis and GERD, than we can deduce that.the cause of your allergy.

I suggest to consult physically a local allergologist to discuss with him about the cause and the treatment of your allergic reaction. About the ascit or the fluid in your abdomen, I can say that a diuretic (spironolacton for example) and human albumin can be helpful. Anyway my advice is to discuss with your treating doctor about the most appropriate treatment in your circumstances.
