Suggest Treatment For Skin Blemishes Caused By Acne

30 year old woman has skin that breaks out like acne but not, looks like a little deeper more like bumpy red patches mostly covering cheeks. Could her diet be the cause? Been like this for few years, is there a diet she can try. She loves avocados could the oil in them be part of the problem?

Hello,

When left on for short periods of time and rinsed off with warm water, avocado oil can keep skin hydrated without leaving an oily residue. This may reduce the risk of acne.

Avocado oil also has anti-inflammatory effects, which can help to reduce the redness and inflammation associated with acne.

For cracked skin you can consider these home remedies:

Soften the skin. Thick, dry patches worsen cracking and bleeding.

Soak in a lukewarm bath for 15 minutes. Avoid hot water and harsh soaps.

At bedtime, slather on some moisturizing ointment, like petroleum jelly. Reapply moisturizer at least twice a day. Apply a medicated lotion, cream, or ointment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
