Suggest Treatment For Skin Burn Between Fingers

I hv a burn between my fingers caused by fireworks buds. Skin blasted open but it s ok, didn t feel pain. I believed it would heal itself. Just this morning, some white mucus came out from the wound. Not sure what that is. I clean my wound with iodine everyday.

Hi
Thanks for choosing HCM for your query.

Burn wound care include:

The devitalized (dead) tissue should be removed.
Antimicrobial topical scrub such as chlorhexidine gluconate should be used along with adequate pain killers.
For the prevention and treatment of burn wound infection the topical antimicrobials ointment/cream like silver sulfadiazine, silver nitrate solution, and silver-impregnated dressings are most effective.

Hope your query is being answered.
A feedback is highly appreciated.
