Hi
Since you developed the burn yesterday only ,you should rather take care of the burnt area .
Do not apply kojic acid based creams yet,
Keep the affected area clean and dry .
Wash the affected area with lukewarm saline water twice daily.
Apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the lesion twice daily.
You can start applying kojic acid based cream once the scab falls off ,and there is any pigmentation left .
