Suggest Treatment For Skin Burn

Hi, I tied to fill my zippo, and i spilt some on my hand. Now I m burned on 4 fingers on my left hand. What should i do? My skin is white and loose. Each burn is about 2cm long. I m keeping it in water now, but I want to ease the pain, and make the damage as little as possible.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This definitely needs to be shown to your doctor to evaluate depth of burns and manage accordingly. As temporary measure, clean well with clean water, and apply a dressing over there. If you have, apply an antibiotic cream like colloidal silver. For pain relief, take acetaminophen or ibuprofen tablet.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
