Suggest Treatment For Skin Cancer
I have had skin cancer surgeries lately(8) all apparently sucessful. Still 3 of them caused infections which required the use of antibiotics. I am told that the antibiotics work to reduce platelets, which mine have fallen from 130 to 100. Should I worry if I continue to use the antibiotics/

some antibiotics can cause low platelet count as side effect.
if certain antibiotic is causing you low platelet count then it should be replaced with other appropriate antibiotic of same class or other class which do not have low platelet count as its side effect.
