Suggest Treatment For Skin Growth On The Soft Palate

Suggest treatment for foreign body stuck behind the soft palate I frequently have this problem at least once a week, sometimes more. I ll have a mass of something stuck above the soft palate and feel the foreign body, whether it is actually food or not. Then it grows in size until is hard in the center and coated by a dime-nickle sized amount of softer mucus. It s bothersome and happens frequently. After it is dislodged I can breath significantly easier. Are there any deformations that cause this and or can it be treated by removing my adenoids or other elective surgery or treatments?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of skin growth on the soft palate which seems to be due to mouth wart, thrush, torus and intake of hot and sharp food and it could be allergic reaction to any ingredient. Another possible reason could be malignant growth. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

-Chew few cloves of garlic to help reduce the infection.
-Maintain hygiene and do gargles warm saline rinses.
- Drink plenty of water.
-Consume honey as it has antibacterial properties.
-Take proper course of antibiotics such as Azithromycin 250 mg along with antiinflammatory medications.

Visit oral physician once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly. Go for FNAC or biopsy of lesion and start treatment accordingly.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
