Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM team.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have skin pigmentation on sides of chin is because of excessive deposition of pigments i.e melanin pigments in this area. It gets exaggerated whenever exposure to UV rays of sun increases.I would suggest you to avoid exposure to sun area and if have to go outside cover with cloth. Do Not use corticosteroids on this area as it will exaggerate your condition and will cause more darkening. Use tan care which is a medicated cream which will lessen these pigments. Apply mashed potatoes on skin which will give marked improvement. Use tea tree oil on cotton and apply 3 times a day.Your symptoms will resolve in 2-3 weeks. If your condition keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain there seems to be hyperpigmentation of the chin and if there is excessive sun exposure it can be a cause..
The first thing that you should do is to always apply a sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun..
You can also start washing your face with Salicylic acid and glycolic acid containing face wash..'
Apply creams containing kojic acid, azelic acid and arbutin over face..
You can also apply Vitamin E gel or Vitamin E containing creams..
Take Vitamin C supplements..
Exfoliate your skin twice a week using a face scrub..
You can also go for photofacial, glycolic acid peeling and microdermabrasion..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
