Suggest Treatment For Sleep Disorder

Hi, I have suddenly developed sleep disorder from past 3 weeks. I have problem falling to sleep inspite of the fact that I'm feeling very very sleepy and can't even keep my eyes opened.

I have no depression, no anxiety, no stress. My stress increases when bed time apprroaches. As I keep wondering will I be able to get sleep today... and that keeps running through out the night.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello
I can understand your concerns.

I would suggest you to practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation in the evening to keep your mind relaxed.

Avoid tea coffe alcohol if you take them at bedtime.

Sleep inducing drugs like zolpidem and ativan (prescription drugs) can help to induce sleep. Consult a psychiatrist for that.

Thanks
