Suggest Treatment For Sleep Disorders With Vision Imbalance

Hi my name is Brad. I am having problems that I can t get to bottom of. After eye surgery and colon surgery my sleeping has been a problem. With out a sleep aid I cannot sleep. As time goes on my eyes hurt and my coordination is not so good. Sometimes my balance is off, if you have any solutions or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello Brad
I would advice you to go for a CT scan of head to rule out brain pathology for incordination.
Also practice sleep hygiene for good sleep:
Avoid napping during the day. It can disturb the normal pattern of sleep and wakefulness.
Avoid stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol too close to bedtime.
Exercise can promote good sleep. A relaxing exercise, like yoga, can be done before bed to help initiate a restful night's sleep.
Food can be disruptive right before sleep. Stay away from large meals close to bedtime.
Ensure adequate exposure to natural light. Light exposure helps maintain a healthy sleep-wake cycle.
Establish a regular relaxing bedtime routine.
Associate your bed with sleep. It's not a good idea to use your bed to watch TV, listen to the radio, or read.

Hope this helps.
