Suggest Treatment For Sleeplessness In A Schizophrenia Patient

Hello, my grandson was diagnose with paranoia schizophrenia, but sometimes like a hour ago, he anxious and wanted to go out side, using profanity, and talking out loud, and ignoring everything you saying to him and behavior continues to escalate. How can I help him more to relax and sleep comfortable and get his rest at night.

Hi,

These symptoms are usually very common in case of schizophrenia. Kindly continue medications as advised by psychiatrist. If he is more irritable then you can give tablet Clonazepam after consultation with psychiatrist.

Kindly keep him under observation of any senior person. You have handle him for few weeks so that his behaviour may come to normal with continuation of medications. Do regular follow up.
