Hello,

There are several problems that you have said. In my opinion, headache and other digestive problems (acid reflux, lack of appetite) may be separate problems or may be part of the same problem. Generally, in reflux disorder, there is no headache. This headache and pronounced vein on the forehead may be due to tension headache due to the fact as you mentioned of the heightened nervous system.

Anyway, I would like to give some tests:
1. ECG
2. Barium X-Ray of Esophagus
3. Esophageal manometry
4. Stool Analysis
5. Complete Blood Test

I would also like to give some treatments:
1. Butalbital/acetaminophen/caffeine
2. Rabeprazole
3. Oral suspensions:
Aluminum hydroxide-magnesium hydroxide-simethicone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
