Suggest Treatment For Slipped Disc In Spine

I cannot seem to get an answer to my problems much less adequate treatment. It appears to be a slipped disc with worsening symptoms (especially since I went to a chiropractor). Am now in bed for 3 weeks, I am in agony even if I try walking to the bathroom or more than a few steps. Have lost insurance so everyone says they do not have to treat me including hospitals. Should I consider this terminal? Have developed a bladder infection (we had to fight to get tested for this and we do pay from our health savings account) which I fear is from being sedentary like I am. Cannot sit normally, either and can only lie on left side in bed so am worried about bed sores or something similar. So much for education, etc in toxicology, micro, clinical lab science, nursing.
