Suggest Treatment For Small Black Spots On The Face

Hi I am a 27 years old male. I have lot of dark spots on my face due to acne problem.I want to get rid of these marks. My doctor has suggested me illumax cream to apply at night. Can you please suggest me if its a good cream to use or is there any other product I can use
