Suggest Treatment For Small Blisters On The Forehead

I started with blisters on the right side of my forehead, then swelling around my jaw line causing pain into my right ear. Was diagnosed with shingles and given famciclovir 500mg 3x/day for 7 days. Day 4 on my medication, I wake up with my right eye swollen and having to wipe tears quite often. When will these breakouts stop or should I be going back in to see my doctor?
