Suggest Treatment For Small Bumps On The Neck And Face

The last three weeks or so, I have been breaking out with lots of little bumps on my neck, sides of my face and even on my eyelids. They itch and of course now, burn. Not sure if it s an allergic reaction to something ( I currently take montelukast for pollen and other seasonal allergies) or if it s viral related, or something else??

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query have symptoms of small bumps on the neck and face. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like contact dermatitis , skin infection , eczema, bug bite and other medical condition. Need not to worry. Avoid touching or pricking rashes. I would suggest you to stop using any cosmetic product , only apply petroleum jelly , protect your skin from sun exposure , and apply broad spectrum sunscreen when in exposure to sun . Also take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl. Consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically , take history , order skin test for allergy and blood test . Doctor may order corticosteroid ointment , anti allergic medicine , antibiotics and may alter the dose of or prescribe substitute .
