Suggest Treatment For Small Red Bumps On The Finger

hi, i have little red bumps on my fingers, they aren t itchy at all, they aren t really sore unless i close my hands and make a fist and then it kind of feels like a pins and needles type of pain. i first noticed them yesterday but i think they were only on the top of my thumb where the joint is. Now they are all over the inside of my fingers and a couple on the back but mostly the inside and sides and no more on my thumb as far as i can tell. I worked in a pharmacy for 3 years and haven t ever seen anything like this so im just a little worried :)

Hi,

Most probably the lesions you described would be allergic or irritant contact dermatitis. You consult dermatologist for the firm diagnosis.

I would suggest..

- steroids in tapering dose
- short course of antibiotic
- antihistaminics
- application of mild steroid with gentamycin
- avoid soap bath
- avoid suspected allergens or irritants

I think this would control your allergy. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
