Hello,

I can understand your concern for the small white spot on the cheek. After analyzing the query I can get that your doctors are keeping a possibility of any premalignant lesion and that is why to rule out the same the by a skin biopsy.
In my patients with your kind of situation I also go for cheek biopsy. It requires only a small piece of skin and then get analyzed by a pathologist. In most of the time it is generally a normal tissue. But it is also quite important to rule out any related condition over the cheek area to get earliest diagnosis. In most of the time it is generally a normal tissue. You can take further guidance from a dermatologist.
All the best.
