Suggest Treatment For Snoring And Choking While Sleeping

Hi, I snore at night a lot and wake up choking. It feels as if I'm choking on my tounge. Also what sits right at the back of the throat above the soft palette in the nose cavaty? because that also feels as if it swells at night and chokes me. Could this also be connected to high blood pressure and GERD?
