Suggest Treatment For Social Anxiety

My mam died when I was 18, im 21 now, instead of going out I cared for her for 4 years and now im scard to go out and socialise, ive lost my fiancee due to this and ive got no friends, during the 4 years I shut fof from the world, I feel like im always being negative and antisocial, any advice?

social phobia or anxiety is define by difficulty in engage in social situation from where escape might be difficult.


For treatment

1st is drug therapy

I treat my patient with SSRI in low dose and among them paroxetine is the choice
along with that benzodiazapine is also helpful.

But it can only given after proper evaluation of disorder

2nd is psychotherapy

In which exposure therapy and flooding is most useful

The main principal of therapy is to involve in every social situation and prevent response

all response we have to note down

by time you will learn from every reaction that have you faced in situations

Gradually anxiety will disappear and you will handle every situations very well.

but this therapy takes time.

Only possible in face to face settings.

so kindly consult psychiatrist and took advise from them
he will assist you further
