I had what appeared to be sweat / zit on the bottom of my chin. We just returned from Mexico. It popped but still hasn t healed completely or in the normal way. Meaning it bleed some and was tight around the area. Anyway it happened on say Thursday of last week and then by Monday, 2 lumps have formed in my lower chin. They are red swollen and feel hot

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would advise you to not pop the pimples as this may cause the infection to spread in the skin or blood. You may just use warm compresses 3-4 times a day. This will help more blood go in the area and speed up the healing process.

If you see that there is redness around or they are not getting better you will need to see a doctor to rule out infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
