Suggest Treatment For Sore And Painful Throat

Hi, I was just wondering if this should be concerning? I have somewhat of a sore throat also and swallowing is slightly difficult/painful. It may also be worth mentioning that I have had swollen palpable and visible lymph nodes on the right side of my neck 1 one harder one behind ear. Have had them checked out and two ultrasounds done, few enlarged & a few hypochoeic but not worrying ? It s been about five months and they don t seem to but growing but not these tonsils are concerning me.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are experiencing regular intermittent sore throat, then it may be related to post nasal drip.

This is one of the symptoms that can occur with post nasal drip which is usually related either to allergies or an acute infection (sinus infection or cold).

If the stimulus remains or is not treated then the nodes would not decrease in size.
You may want to consider treatment of the drip, if present to see if the sore throat and lymph nodes resolve.

I hope this helps
