Suggest Treatment For Sore Muscles Along With Painful Lower Left Quadrant Area Of Back

I slipped on ice and went down 3 concrete steps on my back yesterday morning. While my back and muscles are all stiff and sore as expected, if I step a certain way or move to fast I get a terrible burning searing pain on my left side (where I fell). Its in the lower left quadrant of my back. It is bad enough to take my breah away and I have to stand still for a few seconds until it's gone so I can continue to walk slowly. I am going to my doctor hopefully tomorrow, but am worried since any research has not turned up a burning pain after a fall.
