Suggest Treatment For Sore Swollen Montgomery Gland After Dry White Discharge

I am not and have never been pregnant. I have had a swollen montgomery gland for two months that I accidentally pinched (6 weeks ago) and some dry white issue came out. Recently, it has become sore and swollen. Today it has a yellow pus-like look. Two weeks ago I finished Flucloxacillin for an abcess on my other breast! That abcess has slowly decreased. I have immune problems with CFS for 30+ yrs, (I m in early 40s) and Fibromyalgia. I don t know what to do as I have already been on antibiotics for the abcess. Can you advise?

Hello,

Your question and would explain that your symptoms are suggestive of a local infection in this gland. For this reason, I recommend using locally an antibiotic ointment, three times daily (Neomycin or Tetracycline) to help improve your situation. If the situation does not improve, consulting with a gynecologist will be necessary.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
