Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat After Inhaling Tilex

I was cleaning tiles in my bathroom shower stall and inhaled quite a bit of Tilex mold & mildew. I was going to leave it on and then rinse but I forgot. Shortly after I took a shower while that cleanser was still on the walls. I have a very sore throat. What should I do?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Tilex mold and Mildew remover is a strong chemical substance and inhalation of its fumes can cause burning of the mucosa of the throat and the wind pipe leading to inflammation and burning sensation..

Sore throat that you are experiencing is also due to inflammation caused by Tilex..

Nothing to worry as it will get resolved soon..
You can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
You can drink plenty of cool water as it will soothe your throat and reduce inflammation..
Take a soft diet and avoid spicy food to prevent further irritation..
Limit speaking and do not speak aloud to avoid straining of throat..

In case if it does not improve in 3 to 4 days consult an ENT expert and get evaluated clinically..
