Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Fever While On Crocin
Hi I am a 24 year old female. I have been suffering from night fever and sore throat and congestion since a couple days. I did steaming and took Crocin (paracetamol) for 2 nights for congestion and fever to subside. My congestion started to improve today but i blew my nose too hard and my ear started to ache. I put a few drops of warm garlic oil and now the ear is blocked. I took combiflam (pain killer) and I am scared once the effect wears off the pain will be back. I am confident my fever is gone but the ar ache I cannot handle!
If the ear pain started right at the instant you blew your nose very hard then the high pressure might have injured the tympanic membrane. If the symptoms wear off and recur then an injury to the membrane is not very likely and perhaps it's just the congestion. In any case, you should visit an ENT specialist to have a look into your ear canal and tympanic membrane with an otoscope. Until then avoid putting anything inside the ear canal. A perforated tympanic membrane will allow it to enter the middle ear and serious damage may occur.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
