Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Fever

My throat has been very sore for a couple days I feel like I can't swallow and it has a burning feeling and a very bad taste I've had a fever and the chills my doctor said its not strep and didn't give me medicane she said take Advil but thts not working so I don't know what to do

Hi
Thank for query with HCM, as your doctor said no need for antibiotics but when you have with discomfort while swallowing I would suggest you to go for antibiotic coverage with warm saline water gargling and avoid cold drinks or liquids for a while
