Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Headaches

I have a sixteen year old daughter who got up yesterday feeling really wimpy with a soar throat and a headache. Early afternoon she ran a low grade fever and was really complaining about her throat...when I check she had red spots along with a couple of blisters in the back roof of her mouth and in her throat. This morning she has no fever, but her chest and stomach are covered in a fine pick rash. The blister in her mouth has popped and appears to be healing. Her throat is very sore. I m assuming this is some kind of a virus that will need to run it s course...I m worried she may be contagious. We care for a three month old baby during the day...do you know what the usual incubation period is on viral infections?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, as long as the sign and symptoms are concern this could be allergic condition and may not be viral infection, now for the incubation period of virus it is depends upon the kind of virus and its clinical properties of induction symptoms, but it could be between 4 to 5 days to months, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
