Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Running Nose

I woke up with a mild sore throat one morning after fishing on a pond at night for hours, and it has now been two days and the mild sore throat has not gone away, nor has it worsened or lightened. I recently noticed I have sort-of bright Green stool, which I have never had before. Today, the second day in, I have started feeling fatigued and nauseous with a sort-of runny nose but not congested. I have had one fever, very mild and only lasting a few minutes. I have also felt sort of dissociated and disoriented. No headaches. I recently spent time with my friend who then had Bronchitis (as did his mom), but it has been about a week or two since I did. I feel like this is probably just a cold or a flu, but I have never had green stool before until now, and that is sort of bothering me. I just want to know that I am okay, because I did have a great deal of mosquito bites last night and I want to know if I can go to work, hang out with friends and be with my elderly grandparents.

Hello,

You are suffering from sore throat, running nose, you are also passing green stool. You are nauseous and feeling fatigued. You should get urinalysis (R/E and C/S) and stool examination (R/E and C/S), bile pigment, TC/DC, Hb% tests done to detect bacterial infection (by salmonella, giardia, etc.), to find bile that may be indicative of liver dysfunction. Certain gastrointestinal conditions like IBS, UC, Crohn's disease, etc. can also cause greenish stool. Get liver function test done to stay on the safer side. In the meantime, stay away from addictions if any.

Take home made food and boiled water to detox liver. Avoid oily, spicy, junk food. Take boiled home made food for a couple of days. Take liver tonics (Liv 52) and food that is good for the liver in your regular diet. Take adequate sleep and rest. To get rid of sore throat and running nose, take antihistamine. Gargle with warm salt water and give voice rest. Keep cough lozenges in your mouth and take sips of water to prevent dryness of the throat. Use of nasal spray will help to get rid of running nose. Use humidifier to feel better. steam inhalation once or twice daily are helpful. Get clinically examined, get swab & sputum examination done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
