Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Tonsilitis
I have a piece of skin hanging off my right tonsil. My throat is very sore hurts when I swallow I went to a local clinic they gave me a referral to a ent specialist but couldn t really tell me what it was Also the right side of my neck is swollen an sore to the touch

It might be angina, but that piece of skin hanging off your right tonsil does not like to me. Can you please send a photo?
It might be a virus but a strep test is highly recommended to rule out strep throat.
Meanwhile, keep good local hygiene. Gargle with warm water and salt. Take paracetamol for pain and fever. Increase fluids intake especially water, juice and tea.
