Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Ear Pain, Difficulty Swollowing
I've had a sore throat, ear pain, difficulty swollowing, and numbness on the right side of my neck for over a week. the crazy thing is, it comes and goes. I went to a doctor that told me I had an ear infection and sinus infection. I didn't have a fever or sinus drainage/ stuffiness. I don't know whats going on
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat, ear pain, difficulty swallowing which seems to be due to infection which travel from throat to ear through Eustachian tube (connect throat to middle ear and maintain the pressure of middle ear) ,sinusitis or post nasal drip. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to to consult ENT specialist for proper examination without any delay and to prevent the further spread of infection. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course at least for 5 days or mucolytic agent like ambroxol. For now do warm saline rinses several times a day ,give dry warm compresses to external ear because sometimes sound occur due to water drop in ear .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
