Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Fever And Mycoplasma

My 18 year old daughter was just diagnosed with mycoplasma after presenting with sore throat and fever. Upon returning home with a prescription for Z-pack, she confided in me that she also has several bumps on her vaginal area that are painful to touch and look like pimples. She was tested last month for STD at college and was negative but is very concerned as the last time she had a stomach flu she also seemed to have these bumps. I m at a loss as to what to do, as they do not look like genital warts but may have something to do with the mycoplasma. Help! Thank you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Mycoplasma can cause rashes, there is a possibility but not sure. Microbiological biopsy or smear from lesions can tell the exact diagnosis. Take full treatment of antibiotics and follow up too. Immunity is the cause in this. She should once do 'Art of Living' OMBW course. Its effects on the immune system and one's quality of life improves very much.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
