Hi.. Thanks for the query.. It looks like infection in sinuses and it is the cause of sore throat, headache and plugged nose and sinuses.. As the sinuses drain through the nose therefore there is plugging or blockage of the nostrils.. There are large sinuses present in the forehead area, therefore there is headache.. It can also cause respiratory infection due to post nasal drip.. So my suggestion is to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated.. A complete blood picture, sinus x ray and chest x ray can be advised for confirmation.. You can be advised a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, Cephexime etc.. Along with it antihistamine like Levocetrizine, decongestant like Phenylephrine and mucolytic like Ambroxol can be advised, do steam inhalation and saline nasal irrigation, avoid chilled and spicy foods, drink plenty of warm water, use a cool mist humidifier in your room..
