Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat Noticed On Back Left Side

Hi, I am 19, 5 2 and 110 lbs. I have has a sore throat since last Monday. It is only sore on the back left side. It is visible red with a large white spot. Strep test was negative. The doctor advised me to take ibuprofen, drink tea and lots of liquids an do salt water rinses. I have done all of that and it is hurting just as bad or worse, Could I possibly have something stuck in my throat thats infected? What else can I do to numb the area so it does not hurt so excurciatingly?

Hello,

Avoid cool drinks and freeze water avoid carbonated beverages. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Amoxiclav twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
