Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Persistent Cough And Lethargy

I have been suffering from a sore throat, persistent cough (productive at times, intermittent between clear and green), lethargy, aches & pains throughout body - particularly in the neck & back for the past 11 days, sinus headache. I have been to GP who heard some minor crackles in lower left lobe of the lung, I ve had no temp, and nothing that warranted Antibiotics I am absolutely exhausted from all the coughing, unable to work and look after family, sleeping all the time and do not feel like I have had any improvement. Should I be returning to my GP?

If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you Azithromycin 500mg 1 daily for 10days. Acute respiratory infection is the diagnosis. Add Tablet Claritin twice daily. Syrup Hydrylline Expectorant is good for your cpugh.
