From the query, it is obvious that you are suffering from Acute Tonsillitis. Tonsils are the organs present in the oropharyngeal cavity which protects the airways from bacterial and viral infection. Sometime, overwhelm response to the infection by enlargement,
lymphadenopathy, fatigue, fever, throat pain, etc.
Tonsillitis is more common in childhood. In case of recurrent and
chronic tonsillitis, it should be excised by surgery. Antibiotics are advised for tonsillitis. Acetaminopen for fever and body pain. Take rest, drink of warm water or cold to relieve throat pain, lukewarm water with salt gargling helps to overcome
sore throat, ice creams and other soft food are advised. Middle
ear infection is one of the complications of tonsillitis. Visit an
ENT specialist as early as possible to prevent complications.
