Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

Ive been having a sore throat for a month now. It started as a slight discomfort which graduated to my having difficulty in swallowing that i noticed it caused me to unconsciously change my eating and drinking patterns. I ate and drank less due to the pain. However, when i look into my throat i can see no swelling or redness at the nack of my throat. But feel like my thraot i raw and swollen. Please help. What could this be?

There can be small hidden tonsils not seen adequately though infected, within the fossa, can be lymphoid tissue at the back of the tongue, lower down pharyngitis... also need to rule out sleep apnoea. don't worry or remain anxious. Discomfort will decrease
