My husband is suffering from a bad sore throat from breathing dry wall dust that has kept him awake several nights in a row. He breathed the dust for several hours over a period of two-three nights. Should he see a doctor? He thinks it will just go away, but he s awakened the last two nights from the pain in his throat and needs ibuproprin to get back to sleep.
More than ibuprofen I would suggest him to take paracetamol 500mg tablet twice a day and tablet cetirizine or other antihistaminic at night as it will reduce inflammation and antihistaminic will also give him sound sleep
