Hello, I have been nursing the symptoms of a sore throat for more than a month now, but they are not the typical symptoms. For example, my throat pain started as a feeling of pain when swallowing liquids/saliva, but not solid foods (3 of 10 on pain scale). Then, I spent almost a week with an extremely sore throat, which I was able to feel externally from near the top of my sternum to around my Adam s apple (8 of 10). Now, more than a month later, I still have a small amount of soreness/pain, which is exacerbated if I sneeze. It still hurts to swallow liquids, but now about a 1 of 10 on the pain scale. All of this pain is further down in my throat and not of the itchy/raspy type I am used to with a sore throat. I am a non-smoker and only casual drinker... Any help is greatly appreciated!
