Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

My 15 year old daughter stated with a sore throat last Wednesday, I took her to see our GP on Friday who diagnosed her with tonsillitis,she prescribed her penicillin she is no better in fact she has more yellow puss on her tonsils. So she as been taking her penicillin for 3 days now. Should she be getting better now?

hello, with 3 doses of penicillins, pain has to come down. might be penicillins r not working. u can try tab. augmentin625 mg thrice daily for 7 days, tab Brufen 400 mg twice daily for 3 days and salt water gargling twice daily for three days. all d best.
