what is the term for inability or poor ability to open mouth due to extremely sore throat with pus pocket had this symptom a few years ago as well when he had strep throat MD today put him on Augmentum I just can't remember the term for the opening mouth issue 19 year old male is the patient

hello

the term is called as trismus , which means inability to open the mouth. Augmentin is a good drug and will help you.
you can also gargle with warm salt water, it will also help.
