Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat,cough And Sinus Congestion
Hi, I ve had an extremely sore throat for about two months, seemingly ongoing sinus congestion both head and chest, deep raspy cough, no matter what and it just won t go away. I ve been on anti-biotic twice, acetaminophen daily (3-4X), -histamines; a lot of natural vitamins and nothing seems to help, I ve tried resting until I am tired of resting, yet have no energy.

2 months is a long time to suffer from the symptoms you have mentioned in spite of treatment as you have mentioned.
I would advise you the following in such a condition:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations.
- CT scan of nose and sinuses.
Detailed tests of blood like CBC, sugar, thyroid functions.
Tests for allery.
X-ray of chest.
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis of a primary cause and secondary changes.
You may need a short course of oral and topical steroids in tapering manner.
Continue the management as needed.
