Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat,stiff Neck And Headache

I have been sick since last tuesday had a bad sore throat went to dr. thursday and was giving z-pack though they weren,t sure if it was bacterial or viral. i have no appetite an overwealmingly bad taste in mouth for past 3 days that is worse if i try to eat or drink anything. have had stiff neck an awful headache since i woke this morning.

Greetings. I would like you to follow certain instruction as home remedial measure which are as follows.
- Drink boiled water only.
-Do Gargling with salt in water 3 times/day for relieve of throat pain.
-To avoid bad breath, i advice you to use mouthwash (containing povidone iodine) after gargling.
- Take medication as prescribed by your doctor.
