Suggest Treatment For Soreness And Bruises At The Heel Post Injury

Hello, a few weeks ago I was hit hard in the back of my leg with a sofa. It hurt pretty bad the first day and there was a dent about an inch and a half above my heel. I iced it and elevated it but the dent is still there, it’s still bruised and sore. I can walk just fine but I’m concerned about the dent. Could there be underlying damage there that I need to have checked out? Thanks
