Suggest Treatment For Soreness And Pain In Clitoris

Hi, am experiencing terrible soreness around my clitoris. It s so sore, I can barely touch it. I noticed some blood an hour or so ago, and actually thought I was getting my period because I have been having some of the usual symptoms although I am late, but the spotting was coming form the clitoral area. It seems to be slightly swollen. I also feel itchy around the area, but the pain is more overwhelming than the itch. I am 50 (never wrote that before), and although I have been having periods most months and somewhat regularly although not as regularly as every 4 weeks up until about 12 months ago (I missed one since Sept 2013). I have experienced some menopausal symptoms - mild flushes, sore gums. I am an otherwise healthy, active female, who doesn t smoke and eats relatively healthily, although I do drink wine 3-4 days a week. I have not been sexually active for around 4 years. Help.
