Suggest Treatment For Soreness And Pain In Right Side Of The Hip

I have a very sore hip - right side - that is aggravated by activity/sitting/staying in one position for any length of time. At times the pain will be severe - at other times just aching. Sometimes moves down my let to my knee area. I had back surgery in 2010, followed by a second surgery - 4 days later - where they fused L3,4, and 5.

Looks like a nerve pain. If I was your treating physician I would like to prescribe you Gabapentine 300mg twice daily. It will help you in pain.

Change your seat where you sit mostly. Also Its sometimes the posture problem. Dont cross your legs when sitting. Its necessary release some muscle tension at the muscle origins at joint bones.


I also suggest you to consult an Orthopedic Surgeon for reevaluation of the joint.
