Suggest Treatment For Soreness And Redness On Nose

Yesterday the bridge of my nose where you would put a breathright strip is sore under the tissue and a little red. I wear a breathright strip for a dieveated septum which helps open up my nasal passeges in order to breath at night. I do not have a fever. I have been feeling not well for a couple of weeks and doctors are running tests for bloating, reflux, and fatigue.

Hello,

Breathe Right nasal strips is not the treatment of deviated nasal septum or sleep apnea. These strips only open your nasal passage and improve air flow. Now, your nose is red and sore on the area where you put the Breathe Right strip, it is due to latex allergy. You have sensitive skin. You can apply Neosporin or Soframycin ointment in the area affected. Take a break, you might be stressed up. Stay away from anxiety and take multivitamin capsules, once daily.

You are suggested to visit an ENT and get clinically examined for your nasal septum. Get your vitals checked. Get X-ray PNS done to detect if you have developed sinus problem due to deviated nasal septum. He has to perform few blood tests to detect the pathology causing you discomfort. Stay well hydrated and take nutritious home made food.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
