Suggest Treatment For Soreness Between The Shoulder Blades Post Injury

Hello. I am a 32 year old female and I had a fall last night. I fell backwards and landed on my back and hit the back of my head on the floor. I have soreness between my shoulder blades and in my neck and back of head only hurts when I touch the bump from hitting the floor. I had a headache that went away with Tylenol. Should I go see the doctor?

HI, thanks using healthcare magic

The pain is likely soft tissue injury unless it is severe or persistent.

In many cases of trauma the pain would also be worse by day 2 or 3 then it plateaus and then starts to decrease.
In some cases the pain related to soft tissue injury can last up to 6 weeks, in most cases it lasts less than 2 weeks.

You can continue the tylenol or an anti inflammatory pain killer (Eg naproxen, cataflam or ibuprofen).
Use a warm compress on any affected areas to help relieve any discomfort.

I hope this helps
