Suggest Treatment For Soreness In Ankle And Heel

Hi, I have a sore ankle/heel. It only really hurts when I push off on it when I am walking. I am taking painkillers and have a tubular support bandage for it. I am at university and walking is a major part of my day so I need to get back on form ASAP! I just wanted to know what was wrong with it and if there is anything else I can do?
